I spent a week visiting my girls and grandkids, and I usually stay at Jess' half the week, and Nel's the other half of the week. They go out of their way to make my stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible. I watched Charlotte all week, and she's got to be the sweetest and most easy going child I've cared for. Francesca and Mia's rooms are so enchanting, and they both have the Disney Princess Castle set up in their rooms. I would have loved that thing when I was a kid for my Barbie's. 👚 My daughters' houses are cottage style homes that have unique items around their spaces that show their own personal taste. I love to look around every time I visit. So, you will see a picture or two pop up of something that I thought was delightful. The first part of the week, I stayed at Jess' house, and one warm afternoon, we took the kids to the park. This is a very nice and kept up park with many shaded trees, and I watched Francesca chase the squirrels, and then her and Charlotte merrily ran to the playground. We went to Barnes and Noble and browsed through the isles, and got a little treat at the coffee shop there. Me and Francesca had a nice conversation about the beginning of her school year. I bought her a Taylor Swift coloring book, which she loved. We headed over to See's and Target to get a few things. Jess painted her toes a pretty mint green color, and when she was finished, Francesca wanted to have hers painted as well. Both of the girls lit candles every night for dinner, which I thought was lovely. Jess made a pasta and cheese dish, which was yummy, and a wonderful breakfast. Brian made his amazing chicken and teriyaki dish that I love. It was so festive, as he cut the pineapples in half, scooped the fruit out, and served the rice and chicken over it. We had Taco Bell one night, as I never get fast food. I got to watch Francesca's soccer practice, and she's going to be a talented soccer player I can tell. Me and Jess watched the movie, 'Leave the World behind' with Julia Roberts. It was so strange 😲.... and good. Charlotte is into Mickey right now, so we got to spend special time watching Disney shows together. I found a Christmas Mickey, which she loved. It was a week full of wonderful moments, and I love my family to bits.
This is in between houses. We met at BJ's for appetizers before I went to Nel's for the remainder of the week. The avocado egg rolls were really good. These are the famous Pizookies, a family favorite. I'll show you what we did at Nel's house next time!

Good morning Sheri. Oh all your girls are so beautiful. Francesca, Mia and Charolette are growing too fast. The world of little girls is so foreign to me having 3 sons. The photos are really nice especially of Francesca’s soccer practice. That, I can relate to! Loved all of that back in the day with mine and so good for them. Looks like a wonderful visit with family - bonding, good food and just an all around great visit. I’m so glad you’re able to go down there and connect and make precious memories with your granddaughters which is so important.
It’s getting cooler!!!! I’m so excited. But… it’s probably a faux Fall 🍁but I’ll take it and enjoy it to the max.
Enjoy this gorgeous week ahead. May you see blessings every single day. 🌹
Hello, I loved it all... all the lovely things that make home sweet homes.
Love those smiles.
I really like that they light candles for their meals each night. My husband and I do the same starting in the winter months.

Dear Sheri, it's hard not to smile reading this post! Your photos are so gorgeous and heartwarming! And the beautiful smiles of everyone in your photos is enough to light up an entire city! Thank you so much for sharing. God bless you.
It's clear your family loves and cares for each other very much, and it's wonderful that you got to enjoy all those moments with them.
This just made me smile so big. Hugs.
Muy buenas imágenes familiares. Las niñas son encantadoras.
Que tengas una feliz semana.
I enjoyed everything about this post Sheri. Your girls are so pretty and your relationship with them reminds me so much of how it is with me and my girls. The kiddos are really growing up and this is one of the things that I love about blogging..we get to watch as each other's family's grow and find so many different interest. Both of the girls have some unique and beautiful things in their homes. And..the girls rooms are all so cute. Oh goodness...can you imagine having a Disney house in your room when you were little? I get excited when I know you have visited them, to see all the love you all have for one another. Awesome Post!!!!
What a wonderful time you had! The nail polish color is really pretty. They are such cuties! I have never heard of this Julia Roberts movie.
La casa de muñecas es muy linda. Tambien me dio ganas del pastel. Les deseo una buena semana.
Looks like you had lots of fun and lots of warm weather too. Guess I will check out that movie - hope it is not too weird!
Oh Sheri....That was a lovely post. Loved all the photos but especially the one with Charlotte in the park! Great job! So happy you spent those magical days with your loved ones. Susan
Sheri, It sounds like you had a blast. I would have loved a Barbie House when I was a kid. I loved Barbies. Klara was not a fan. Maybe Charlotte will be. The meals sound delicious! Im glad you made it home safe and sound.
What a great post, Sheri. Time with family is The Best, and you had a great week at your daughters' houses. A Disney Princess castle is so beautiful, and I too would have loved one as a kid. I'm sure the girls play with it a lot. The pink roses and the pineapple chicken dish look so attractive (and delicious!). It is a treat to watch the girls playing in the park, reading, and going about little girl business, and a privilege to watch them grow on your blog.
Oh, my goodness Sheri - you went from one thing to another and then changed homes and did it all again!
Charlotte is so big - I am shocked. Seems like she was just born. Disney Castles all girls dream. I love Winnie myself.
Love the roses. And Charlottes purse with the pearl handle.
My grandson plays soccer, but never in those bright pink shoes!
You look like you had such a fabulous time darling!
Precious time...How many treasures! Your girls are adorable. Your posts always make me smile! Blessings.
I realized I have been following you for a long time, for I think I remember when Francesca was born and now look at her, growing up so well! And Charlotte, too! Everything looks delightful and so much fun. I'm glad you had this extra time with them. That's wonderful bonding. By the way, thanks for coming over. I don't know if I'll get to responding to comments this week, but thanks!
So many wonderful photos and memories made.
The days at Jess's sound wonderful. I'm so happy you had such a great time. The castle is huge, it can fit several Barbies. :)
