A Wonderful Weekend

I had the best Labor Day weekend!
Jess came to visit, and I got to see Francesca.  When her and Brian got here, I greeted them with crackers of roasted chicken, pepper jack cheese and pickles, chips, peaches, and homemade potato salad.

Remember the doll I got for Francesca?  She loved it!  She wouldn't put it down.  This is her cabinet filled with goodies, and I want to eventually get Mia the same cabinet of her own.

Watched a little Sesame Street.
I used to watch this all the time when my kids were young, so it gave me so much pleasure watching it with my grandbaby.

Did some shopping.
Jess found a cute dish towel with macacons on it for when she makes her scrumptious macarons.

Favorite shop

A paper store with lots of ideas for creating.

Time to rest and see the sights.

Went to Jack's Urban Eats for a bite to eat.  I forgot how BIG and delicious their salads are.  We shared a salad and some garlic fries.

Speaking of shopping....
Jess went to this cute boutique awhile back, and I really want to check it out.  ; )

Bye Grandma, see you soon!

What a sweet little doll Francesca is, Sheri! I see the resemblance of you and her. Such a happy post full of family memories. The darling butterfly bench would beckon me to rest and the lovely meal you shared with Jess makes for a perfect outing. At our mall we have a Francesca's as well. I think of your sweet granddaughter when we pass by. ♥

It is always wonderful to get a grandma's visit and how nice that you have a cabinet for her - my mom used to do the same for my kids. The store Sur La Table looks interesting - I wonder if we have one her. sandie

She is such a DOLL! Love that beautiful little smile. Looks like you all had such a great visit. Talking about watching tv with the babe like you did with the girls...I loved introducing my kids to the Wizard of Oz for the first time. From there I went on to introduce my nieces and nephews and a few yrs ago my great nephew was watching it with his dad (who I introduced it too) and they had to call me to tell me the tradition is being handed down. I love it. Thanks for sharing your sweet little one with us...adorable.
