Fall Around The House And A Prayer

A little bit of Fall around the house

Friends, I'm asking you to say a prayer for our Nel.  A big tropical storm is supposed to hit Georgia tomorrow where she lives.  It's supposed to be a fierce one.  They haven't called for an evacuation yet, but all the schools are closed, and she is staying put for now.   She has prepared for this storm with lots of food, water, and gas, and her house has a room under the stairs for protection.  It is scary for me cause I'm in California, and my girl is in Georgia, and I may not be able to hear from her for a few days.  I'm asking for prayers for her and husband, and I thank you, my dear friends.

love, ~Sheri

Scary indeed! My girlfriend and her family are in Ft. Myers. We've been texting and she was sending videos up until about an hour ago. Their power went out hours ago so I told her to conserve her battery on her phone. Hopefully by the time it reaches GA, it will lose 'steam'! Your touches of fall remind me that I probably should start thinking about it although I'm always sad to say goodbye to summer. Prayers for your girl and her family!

Sheri, I have been praying for everyone in Florida and the connecting states that are in the storm's path. I pray your Nel will be safe. She's got a plan and that helps.
Pray for my granddaughter Sierra. She lives in Tampa...been watching the news all day.
She stocked up with candles, a flashlight, foods and water. She and her room mate Karolina have a great neighbors at the apartment complex. I wish she had left for the central part....just to be safer. This has been a stressful weekend. Prayers and hugs for you too. Blessings, xoxo, love, Susie

These storms are truly scary and I can understand that you worry. I would do the same if it was my girl. I hope that she and everybody else will be safe.

Sending prayers and positive vibes for Nel and you Sheri! I'm a little on edge myself since South Carolina is supposed to feel some of the effects of the storm tomorrow. Praying for us all.

What part of Georgia is Nell in? As slow as Irma is moving I am hoping that by the time it makes it through Fla. it will have calmed down a lot. I have lots of relatives in Ga. and I am sure Nell will be ok. Keep us posted please.

Prayers will be sent for Nel and her husband, I am sure she will be fine. At least they have warnings and can get prepared and us with earthquakes have none.

Take care Sheri

Hugs,
Mary

A prayer being said as I write. It would indeed be scary for you being so far from your girl. Your pumpkins are inspiring me to get my pumpkins out. Thanks for the inspiration.

Stopping back in to check on your daughter. My aunts have lost electricity, winds and rains but all my family is safe. Just wanted to see how things are for your daughter. Nashville TN is now getting rain, they said winds up to 50 miles an hour but as of yet we have not gotten that. House/dog/bird sitting at brothers out in the sticks....hoping we keep our lights.

Please let us know how Nel fares and of course, prayers are coming your way.

Each and every photo is wonderful but boy, do I especially adore your little bear.

And for whatever reason, I can't find the nice comment you made on the Gypsy to reply separately, so I'll tell you thank you right here!

Enjoyed your fall pictures, and did I spy a Pioneer Woman plate? Love her style. The cake looks delicious. Glad that after reading your last post that your daughter is okay! It is hard not knowing what to expect! My sister had to evacuate for Hurricane Harvey, and we are thankful they had no damage from it. Hugs :)
