White Fairy

Since I have a small space,
I had to get a small tree this year.
So, I gathered up all the white ornaments
I have, and decorated this little tree
with white and silver.

My friend, Dana, makes us homemade goodies
every year along with a cute ornament,
and this ice skate is a favorite
of the bunch.

A treasured porcelain dove
from the year that Nel was born.

My son threw in a little red and jolly.  ; )

I must show you the white fairy I bought.
It was kind of expensive,
but I guess we have to treat ourselves
now and then.

The lady at the store told me
the reason it was so expensive was because
she is from a special collection, and
her face is hand painted.
She looks so real.

Her fur coat has a jewel clasp,

and I love her sequin and fur leggings.

She's going to be my Christmas fairy every year,
but I will keep her out all year long,
as I have a white bedroom.

Almost done with my shopping
and wrapping,
and now it's time to
sit back and enjoy the season!

My tree is really small this year,
but it's real, and that's
a very important thing in this house.
I can smell the lingering
scent of pine
every time I walk by.

Oh Sherry, your tree is beautiful and so many lovely ornaments. Love all the white ornaments on it.

Your new fairy is stunning and I can see why you purchased her. Her face is beautiful and those eyes - WOW.

Your lucky to be able to purchase a live tree. I can't do all that any more, so just have my pencil faux one. I wish that it was real and flocked.

Have a wonderful Merry Christmas.

Hugs,
Mary

My sweet friend, your tree is simply delightful. Don't you just love pulling out the ornaments as you remember the Christmas celebrations from years ago. I think hanging the ornaments on the tree is one of my favorite things to do because there is a special memory behind each ornament.

Your fairy is darling, dear Sheri. I'm glad she went home with you :) Love and hugs!

Sheri, I love that you will use your new white fairy all year in your bedroom. It's so good to be able to do that. I loved seeing your ornaments. Our older ornaments are little bits of memories. Wish I had one of those coffees right now. LOL. I think adding an ornament to a gift is a great idea. Blessings to all of you. Love, xoxo, Susie

I love the scent of a real tree. I usually get a real wreath to go inside my door but I didn't this year. Love your pretty ornies...so elegant! Hugs!

LOVE, love, love that sparkly Christmas Fairy. She is SPECIAL for sure. Had to smile at the Starbucks cup. They gave me one with hot water alone so I could make my cinnamon tea from Harney.

I love your white ornaments, Sheri! I know your tree must smell heavenly. And your sweet fairy is so special. I can see why you will be keeping her out all year! My husband loves Starbucks like you Sheri. I'm not a coffee drinker, but sometimes I get their hot chocolate. It's delicious! Merry Christmas to you, my friend. ♥

Oh -what a fun collection of things on your sweet little tree. That fairy is nothing like I pictured---lol----she is even cuter---different and I like that. I was picturing something more along the lines of a Mark Roberts' fairy when you were describing her. I was so wrong.
I think it is great that you bought yourself something special this year and have a new tradition in your new home. Blessings to you- xo Diana

Dear Sheri,
Thank you so much for letting me know about your fairy. I have not been on the computer much, so I am glad I did not miss this.. First, your tree is just beautiful, and yes, nothing like the scent of a real tree..
I LOVE your fairy. She is so lovely. Her hand painted face is really beautiful!
Blessings,

Oh Sheri, it's divine! I love how carefully you picked the ornaments you chose -- the white is perfect.

And your fairy -- oh my! You had mentioned in a comment you had found a wonderful fairy but she is simply magnificent. I've never seen such fine and elegant painting and the great detail. The sequined legs re just over the op -- it's wonderful!

Merriest to you!
