'Tis the Season

Season's Greetings, Friends.

Mom and Nel shared their festive homes, and now it's my turn.

I have been busy decorating my home and playing Santa.

This year, my husband and I visited a Christmas Tree Farm. Is anyone else VERY particular about the tree they choose? I definitely am, and I think I get it from a certain special someone (Mom ;-). When we found our tree, my husband handed me the saw. I cut down my very first Christmas tree! I liked that this one was different from the typical trees we select every year. It's tall, thin, and imperfect.

When we got home, we realized it wouldn't fit in our living room! Luckily, we have a loft-style townhouse with a high ceiling in the dining area, so we were able to place it there. (It was a challenge to photograph though!)

I hope you are enjoying this holiday season. This is such a busy time of year, and it's easy to forget that the holidays are not happy for everyone. I'm sending heartfulness to all of you

Happy Week, Friends.

I love your teeny-weenie tree, Jess, and your great big one, too! Yes, trees can be a very picky thing! But your home is looking fabulous -- filled with Christmas spirit and love!

Jess, when I saw that bunny globe, I knew it was soooo You. Your tree is just right for the big room in your house. I'm glad Brian handed you the saw to cut it down.....we live and learn. While you were sawing your tall tree, I was sawing my little one. ; ) ~mom

What a great tree, and it works perfectly in the tall space. Beautifully decorated.

A lovely tree you have to be sure. Also think putting bulbs in a vase or bowl with pine cones adds the perfect touch to any setting at this time of year.

Merry Christmas to all ~ Sheri, Nel and Jess!
I love that bunny snow globe. We have two pet rabbits, Rex and Balin. I just love them. They are outside in a sweet house my husband built. When ever I see bunnies I smile.

Thank you for sharing your lovely Christmas tree.
