A Pleasant Shopping Day

I had to pick up some things for the wedding, and did a little shopping yesterday.  One of my favorite places to go has many shops that accommodate what one is looking for.  Sometimes I go very early in the morning before the crowds arrive when it's quiet and take pictures of the peaceful surroundings.

At night all the lights are lit up, and even some draping around the trees.

Jess is going to have a chocolate table at the reception, so I went with my brother to get a variety of chocolate that I hope everyone will like.

I've always loved this awning.  I can just imagine two lovers meeting here for the very first time.  : )

I found some sparkly shoes that will go perfect with my dress.  And a heel that's not so high, which suits me.

Now, on to more of my favorite shops.

Is there anyone who doesn't love this place?

I'm all ready now,
and the day
will soon be here.
Jess and Brian,
May you have a blessed
life together.

I am so excited for you and the upcoming wedding. Love the idea of the chocolate table. Remember when those chocolate fountains came out and they were at every wedding? Now I don't see them here very often.

Love the shoes-that is always a biggie-to find something that looks and FEELS good!

Hope you have a wonderful day- xo Diana

Oh perfect timing for some chocolate pics. Lovely shoes, I can only wear low heels or wedges, everything else is to painful on my little thin feet.

What a nice place to shop, especially with that beautiful archway of greenery. I love Michaels shops - when I can get to North America and visit one. And my wedding shoes also have peep toes - Twins! You have made many lovely plans for the wedding, and I know it will be beautiful. Congratulations to all, and have a perfect day Sheri.

Good morning dearest Sheri! I love your shoe pick! Beautiful sparkle, nice, manageable heel! And the chocolate, what a great way to keep the guests smiling! Early mornings are the best for exploration and picture taking. I wish you and your family all the best in merry-making and to the bride and groom, a happy lifetime of building memories! LOVE TO YOU!

Hi Sheri... I love all those shopping places. All of them! Unfortunately, we don't have Cost Plus where I live now. (booo hoooo) So glad you found some yummy chocolate offerings. That is going to be a fabulous wedding. Susan

Love your sparkly shoes, I no longer wear high heels, I guess you could call them short heels, lol. Chocolate table sounds like the table everyone will hang at!
