Jess, I have never been to Monterey but I truly need to visit there. Your photo of the oceans hem is breathtakingly beautiful. I enjoyed strolling through your captures which all are taken from your very creative minds eye. Enjoy the weekend and thanks for the share. xoxo, Vera
Jess, your photos and thoughts are spot on! It's the little things that pass us sometimes that we really need to focus on. Monterey is so lovely and you have captured its beauty. Enjoy your weekend. ♥
What beautiful photos. I love when you can see all the details of unique items. I went through Monterey in 2014 but didn't get down to the water, I wish I had. It looks so inviting.
Hi Jess Oh yes all you've shown us and a whole lot more makes me happy! What's the blue fish on the paving about - I haven't been to Monterey so I apologise for being ignorant! LOVE the old door handle, I'm always zooming in on details like that too. Great post! Shane
Having a camera phone has totally changed my perspective. I've only owned cheap cameras and never had one along when I "needed" it. Now, I am always poised to capture a "detail" that grabs my attention.
Such beautiful photos!! Thank you for visiting my blog <3 and for the kind words. Yes, Valentines Day is celebrated in Greece, although not as big as the US! Have a great weekend!!
"Zooming in" is what it's all about for any artist. To capture the WHOLE landscape is fine, but to select a detail and to explore it from different angles is something I am learning in my photography. In poetry as well, it is of utmost importance. In life, too!
Those fish on the sidewalk, I thought I've seen them before! We were just in Monterey last June!
