Weekend Drive

Me and husband took
a drive, and came
upon the
Sacramento River.
A red tail Hawk -
bird of prey
Farm land -
do you ever wonder
where our food
comes from?
Great Egret
(cousin of the snowy egret)

Black Crows
The Great Egret in flight
is so graceful.
It's already November!
Have a nice Sunday.

This is a lovely landscape you took the picture of! Especially so nice animal pics, it's not so easy to take them!
In Hamburg we also have nice weather although we have already November! This is absolutely untypical for this region, but we enjoy it :)
Have a nice week, Sheri,

What a wonderful drive. The red tailed hawk is a great capture, I can never get close enough to a hawk to get a good shot. He is in perfect focus. I never get tired of looking at egrets, yes they are graceful. I can't believe it is November! Where has the year gone? Have a great week!

My darling friend, how LOVELY is this Sunday drive! I missed blogging yesterday (visits) because I was trying to get my own post together...then I was so late this morning to work!

I LOVE taking a Sunday afternoon to relax and observe nature. What a great area you are surrounded by!

And changed the post title, I see.
I saw the weedend one yesterday and it made me smile.

You are the personification of the saying: "My favorite place? Somewhere!" because you always find beauty... or it finds its way into your heart.

Thank you for sharing. I love how your Autumn pictures are turning into more silent and monochromatic.
Love it so much. You know how I love this season.

Hi Sheri,

Sounds like a lovely drive...and lovely photos! Can you believe it's November already? Where on earth as this year gone? Thanks so much for stopping by. I just posted some photos of the boys in their Halloween costumes. We weren't sure what we were going to do...ended up going trick or treating at my parents' house and then to a wonderful harvest festival at a church.

Have a great week!
