One And Only

I have been missing my mom lately.  No really, I have been aching for her.  I'm not sure why, maybe because Mother's Day is in a week or so.  You only have one mom, and when she's not around, you miss her terribly.

She had five chickadees, and I was her youngest.

She was a fantastic woman devoting much of her life to her family.

She is my one and only mom.

She used to love this song, and I can see her now dancing in her kitchen while listening to the music.  It's an oldie, but I'm sure some of you still remember it.

I can see the light in your eyes, mom.

Awwwww, Sheri, it's true.

Once our Moms leave us, life is never again the same.

It's totally changed and there's an ache in our hearts that cannot be filled.

Your Mom was sooo pretty! Susan

I'm sorry you are missing your mom so much. Loosing a mother is a pain like no other. Since my mom passed our family has fallen apart, I would have never imagined in a million years things would end up like this...she would be heartbroken. (((HUGS)))

As long as you remember her and think of her - and the great example and model of love whe was - she's not really dead.
Maybe you feel that when she "stops by" to have a look and feeling on her chickadees lives.
I'm sure she's so proud of you, your own family and love ties you created.
She was a blessing in your life and you're making a wonderful statement of that living and loving the way you do.
Be Well Dear Friend,
Teresa

I know your pain, Sheri. I lost my Mom when I was 25 and pregnant with my only child. It's been hard not having her to turn to. They remain in our hearts, and inspire us to be shadows of their image. She is beautiful.
Hugs,
Patti

I understand your pain and the ache. My heart literally aches for mine. Today has been one of those days for me too. I need to talk to her about so much right now. She's been gone 4 years in September and it's not one bit easier on some days. Prayers for you my friend.

I am late dear friend; I had my MRI yesterday, and just crashed at home in the evening.

I hear ya.

My mum passed away 30 years ago, and still to this day, get tears in my eyes, especially on Mother's Day.

I have tears as I type.

Sweet friend....I just happened to notice you came by my older post to leave me a sweet word. I am feeling better, but still have a trail of dizziness. I had an MRI yesterday, and I'm just waiting for the results. It means so much to me that anyone would care to ask. Much love to you, Anita
