Hi Sheri - That special tree must be gorgeous in all seasons. Wow, I love it! Thanks for sharing that great quote. I've always thought of a tree as the trunk of a family, and the branches are just that: a growing family.
I so love this idea that we have to live through....that which is represented by the "actual" physical object, and the CONCEPT. These two worlds lend themselves to the art we create. HAPPY WEEK MY FRIEND! Anita
Sheri- How timely. On the way to church this morning the little girls and I talked about reputation...and how it follows you. If you are a "mean kid" in 2nd grade you will be thought of as a "mean kid" in 3rd grade even though you might not be mean anymore. Lulu said that one boy was known as a booger and scab eater (yuck and yuck) even though he didn't do that anymore now that they are in 6th grade. It was a good discussion! xo Diana
Sheri- Such a lovely and symbolic quote and this tree is big, beautiful, dignified and strong. We had a good day today-very cold, but very nice. I hope you had an enjoyable one too. With love, Jemma
I remember you telling me how much you love trees and this tree is truly a beautiful one. Our forefathers had far more wisdom than what they were given credit for. I bet Abe Lincoln never thought this quote would carry such a deep and spiritual meaning.
Oh WOW, Sheri! I love this quote and that TREE! I have a thing for trees and birds. (I know you love birds too)...but this quote is so timely. Thanks! :)
Sigh...look at that beautiful oak. Can't pass one without missing ours from our last home. Thank you for sharing this image, friend. I'll take it with me today. One glance, and the quote is clear and simple, but just like the image, I think I'll take it with me today and let it speak to me. When we least expect it, words of wisdom probe our very soul. Have a beautiful weekend, lovely. xoxo's
