How Beautiful And Bright

Our trees are decorated, and each is different in their own special way.  Nel went with the golds and reds and clear lights.  I love her gold ribbon adorning the tree, so pretty.

I saw a few white and silver ornaments this year that I liked, and always prefer the colored lights.

Jess went with the golds and reds and clear lights also.  I love her red skirt and classic red balls.

Ahhhh.....is this not such a fun time of year? How I adore all the styles that we use to celebrate. Reds, vintage ornaments, simple styles, it is all an expression of hope. May your home be filled with such hope my dear friend. Anita

Isn't the scent of a Christmas tree wonderful when you first bring it into the house? I know some people are allergic to it but it takes me back to my childhood. It must be so much fun to have your two daughters creating Christmas in their houses and being able to see how you all differ--and how you are alike in some ways. My daughter lives in FL now and I miss our Christmas days shopping together and seeing the historic districts all dressed for the holidays, and especially seeing the fabulous gingerbread houses she makes. Pictures and emails are wonderful but I miss her presence!

They are ALL beautiful!

My youngest son went into the Army this last year and it's been so long since I've seen him. His wife and him both will be here in 2 weeks for Christmas as will all the rest of my kids/grandkids and parents soooo... I've put up 3 big trees this year and 3 smaller ones all over the house. A "little" overboard this year! LOL!

All three trees are winners, Sheri! You all have wonderful taste in tree decor. The first ornament is really lovely, and unusual, and I would love to have that pretty angel on my tree-top! I am sure your Christmas will be quite wonderful. xxx

I was going to say "Apples don't fall far..." but I guess it covers pinecones too ahahahah

So much loveliness and whimsy you all created.

I was doing the same during the weekend. I put the Nativities on display on saturday and the tree on Sunday.

I'm getting old. I used to do that all in one day and head for the Mall for food and gift buying. Now I'm beat and have to take a breath between undertakings.

I went for a white and silver theme this year. I thought I'd extent the Silver Wedding Anniversary celebratory mood a bit more.

No energy for pictures. Maybe over the week...

Congratulations Sherri, Nel and Jess for the Beauty and Warmth each of you created for all your loved ones.

Happy and Blessed Season!

Teresa

What a pleasure to see how you've decorated your Christmas trees, all so festive. I love the ribbon of Nel's tree and your little white Angel is just breathtaking. Last but not least the gorgeous red skating boots in.

The color scheme gold and red is also to be found in my home.

How I wish we could meet. I have had the fortunate opportunity to meet three blogger friends, and a fourth one is a great friend who lives here in my area! But Sheri, you are so special. Thank you for coming today to visit, and THE CANON! YES! Has it already been a year since Nel got married? And isn't that a sweet rendition of the song with the children?

May you enjoy the silent beauty of nature where you are, and let Christmas breathe in LIFE to all!

(how I truly wish we could meet...)

Hello Sheri, What festive beauty you and your girls have created here. I'm loving the sentiments and the creativity. Knowing where you all are dwelling (near my home town) makes it feel like coming home to visit your blog. I love it. I'll keep an eye out for the star-and thanks for shopping with me. It's so much fun to wrap up something special. That star was a favorite of mine.
Cheers, xx-Heather

Each is simply MAGIC!!!
Thank you for taking me along.
With the exception of a tiny tree on my art table displaying ornaments from blogging friends, a table top natural Christmas tree my husband brought home last week which I decorated with starfish and silver beads for our coastal home, and the Poinsettias, I did not unpack my Christmas decorations this year. With all the transition I just couldn't. So you can imagine how much I'm enjoying your tour.
Keep it coming, girls!
