I can't see fair lights far and not turn into a 8 year old full of excitement and happiness ahahahah
Childish I know.
But I love even to listen to the sounds that come through thin air (we have some fairs in our county - though - praise - not close to our home ahahaha) and nothing spells better Summer is ending, school is around the corner, BUT there's still time for some fun.
And no I don't ride anything or eat anything in it (maybe some chorizo bread they make when we're already leaving) but it is like I did... I always leave a fair giddy with excitement and curiously settled.
Thank you for sharing "your" Fair, Jess. Much more complete than ours...
Jess, I love fairs and carnivals! Me and your Dad used to go to the County Fair every summer when we were dating. This brought back nice memories for me.
I haven't been to a fair in years but they scream "Americana". Didn't know they had art areas--the inspire wall looks amazing. It would take a lot to get on the ferris wheel. Ann

Oh for me Jess, it's the farm animals. We have our State fair this week in Minnesota, and we have EVERYTHING THING FRIED, on a stick. I cannot even begin to tell you what they come up with, but my favorite part is seeing the sweet cows, horses, goats and pigs and just playing with them!!!!!!
Oh, talk about everything on a stick at the Minnesota State Fair! From alligator meat, cheese, SNICKERS BARS, fried fruit, cheesecake on a stick....go to this link and scroll down to see just a sample of what you can find there!
Hello Sheri, I also love country fairs. This one seems awesome. I love the swing rides. When I was young we had a theme park called Ponchartrain Beach. It was the greatest. Fun with dates...LOL...Look it up when you have time. I could use one of those hotdogs you are showing about now... Take care Hon, XXOO Marie Antoinette
Fantabulous photos..It's been way too long since I have been to the fair..I always loved that it was the signal to cooler weather in our part of the state... Love, Mona
