Father's Day
is Sunday, and I'm
just thinking of
my dad.
Some purple
flowers for you,
Dad.
This song has
always reminded
me of my dad,
and I wanted to
share it with you.
Hope you have
a grand day with
your Fathers.

Oh boy
Father's day .
I did not have a good relationship with my dad . We simply did not connect when I was young .
I moved out very young and went to live far away .
And than he passed away , only 63 years young .
I was busy being a mother of four
and
I never took the chance to connect.
When I devorced The father of my children choose for a new life in France and we never saw him again
So my children had to grew up without a father
So Now you know here is a huge theme in my life.
I am so glad my son has become the most wonderful father for his Eva !
Father's day has become whole new in our lives ....
I think a lot about my father and how I wish it would have been another story .
I feel blessed to have such a wonderful father-son !

Good Afternoon Sheri, This is a lovely tribute to your father.
I listened to Moon River sung by Audrey Hepburn and loved it. I never tire of watching Breakfast at Tiffany's I can watch it over and over again.

Dear Sheri,
What a lovely your tribute to your father. This post has been a sweet stroll down memorie lane for me. My heart melted when I was listning to Audrey's Moon River. Thank you for this moment of love between a father and his daughter.
Love,
B.
Hi Shari,
Thank you for visiting, always a pleasure. He didn't show the fireplace but it's on the left side. It's fun taking these pictures inside our home, somehow you see things different. Moon River is a lovely song, dad liked Over the Rainbow. Blessings, Lu
I love this photo with you and your dad's hand! I am not sure whether I also have such a nice photo, but I will look for one! Thanks for sharing with us, it's so important to hold up memories!
