the charm...
the creativity...
of this enchanting City!
Husband and I encountered breathtaking beauty around every turn as we explored Paris on our honeymoon.
The Arc de Triumph rises into the blue sky as a powerful symbol of French liberty.
Climbing the hundreds of steps that lead the way to the Sacre Coeur Basilica, the tired traveler is invigorated by a divine sight.
Constructed during the 11th century, the adjacent église Saint-Pierre de Montmartre is the oldest church in Paris.
The treasures of Les Invalides include medieval French armor,
exquisite interior spaces,
and Napoleon's monumental tomb.
Whether world-renowned,
or privately discovered,
these city sights will live happily in our memories until my husband and I have the good fortune to return to sweet Paris again.
Thank you for joining me for this second tour in our honeymoon series. I can't wait to meet you again next week in the Louvre where we'll enjoy "The Art of Living"!
Bisous!

Bonjour Nel!
Comment ça va?
Isn't Paris the most glorious experience? I believe that one of the draws of Paris is the IDEA of it. Not too many places where the IDEA of it, regardless of the realities, can make you swoon.
BONNE JOURNÉE! Anita
The Notre Dame Cathedral is amazing, Nel! Can you imagine me looking all around in there? I hope to one day see it myself.
Kiss,
~Mom

The charm can't be denied. It's hypnotizing.
Hi Nel, what a romantic setting for the perfect honeymoon. Love your pics. Thank you for sharing.
Hugs!
I sometimes wonder if Paris biggest charm isn't not to reveal everything... you may - will- return there many times but everytime will leave something to watch more carefully, something to dedicate more time to, or something you completely forgot to check or visit.
It really is a Lady :).
And now I really wish I was there...
Perfect pictures also add to the charm:
Lise: Paris has ways of making people forget.
Jerry: Paris? No, not this city. It’s too real and too beautiful. It never lets you forget anything. It reaches in and opens you wide, and you stay that way.
-Leslie Caron as Lise and Gene Kelly as Jerry Mulligan in An American In Paris
Thank you so much for sharing your vision and your living in, of, Paris.
Yours,
Teresa

Your photos are superb and you have really done Paris justice. I never tire of visiting this amazing city or seeing wonderful photos of the sights. Sacré Coeur is one of my favourites and the rose window in Notre Dame.
