Just Because

Sometimes I will
take pictures
for no special
reason at all,
just because
I think there is
a touch of beauty
in them, or they
are unusual, or
there is something
about them that
speaks to my
heart
Here are a few.

You captured the beauty of so many different places. I love the pictures. :)

To answer your question, yes, I am a teacher. ( a home tutor actually; I teach English on a one-to-one basis). I'm happy to hear that your daughters are teachers, too!

Hello dear Sheri,
I do so much agree with what you wrote. It sometimes is great just to photograph something that catches our eye and makes us feel good.

Good morning my dear! I am so late here....today is my 31st wedding anniversary!

You are doing what a writer does. You just snap away at something that catches your heart. You keep doing it until one or two REALLY speak out at you. That is like writing. You just keep writing until things come together as you envision. These photos are beautiful, and I especially love the sheep and the gull.

Keep journaling through your photos!!! Anita

Good morning darling friend! Oh how lovely it is to see you come to my post and offer such sweetness. Thank you for your anniversary wishes! IT WAS SO FUN! You ask, "Hmmmm...what did they do?" Answer: NOTHING but hang around together. My husband wrote me a lovely poem, we went out a bit since he just had a morning meeting at work, and I got a bouquet of my favorite flowers: WHITE TULIPS. Oh how fun was our day.

Thank you for always coming to visit my posts. They are always an experiment in writing, but one day I hope to gather some of my better ones to shape into better poems. Oh it is just so fun to attempt to create.

Have yourself a wonderful California day! Anita

Sheep really capture my heart. Charming photo of the different varieties of sheep. Can't wait until we will have flowering trees in bloom -- but it will be a few more months in Michigan. Thanks for sharing your local color.
