Pumpkins are pretty just as they are, but if you are looking for a way to dress them up, read on.
This project is fun, simple, and perfect for the month of October:
I bought 4 mini pumpkins with stems (2 white and 2 orange for some variety) and a 1/4 - 1/2 of a yard of black lace at my local fabric store.
Once you have your pumpkins and lace, cut the material into sections making sure each section will fully wrap around a pumpkin. Next, cut a very small hole into the center of one section of lace. Wrap the lace tightly around the pumpkin ensuring that the stem pokes through the hole. You can use hot glue or packing tape to hold the material together at the bottom of the pumpkin.
And TA-DA! You have yourself a pretty pumpkin presentation!

Wow! Really inventive! Spooky-sexy... Too bad we don't celebrate Halloween in Greece, this would be a perfect decoration piece.

What fun...I will have to try adding lace to mine!!! Love this look! xoxo
These are gorgeous, Sheri. I love pumpkins in the buff too, but I like to try different creative challenges with them every year. This year I attempted burlap and paper and had so much fun. I think I'll add lace to my 2012 list. :)
Have a nice day.
