You Are My SONshine

This little boy looks very much like my son when he was little.  I used to see these pictures, and my heart would sing because the resemblance was surprising to me.

Don't let these sweet pictures fool you though.  He used to play football and rugby for many years.

Tough he may be, but also has a gentle spirit.

I protected and cherished him when he was a boy, and I am pleased with the man he is becoming.

To all the sons...
You are special.
You are brave.
You are funny.
You are loved.

~Sheri

Oh Sheri dearest,

You have captured my heart. I love boys. I never had children, but I wanted a houseful of boys, just like Ruben. Boys and girls are fun to watch tumble about, learn, try to figure things out, but what is it about these little men that steal our hearts?

Thank you so much for coming today and commenting. Your kind words really reach to me and it is so fun to share one's passions. YOU ARE PART GREEK? My word, what a heritage you HAVE!!! Of all the places I have been to in Europe, no other beach has intrigued me as much as the PHOTOS of Navagio Beach, and I do hope that one day I will go. I thank you kindly for your wonderful friendship and sweet spirit that always transcends the distance and space!

ENJOY THIS BEAUTIFUL DAY!!! Anita

Dear Sheri,
I'm so glad you found me so that I could find you, this lovely blog and especially this post!
My son is 17. He was born in the middle of a war and was the one gift that kept me going for all these years.
It's amazing how we can still see those cute little boys in the young men our sons have become, whenever we look at them :)
Thank you so much for stopping by!
Of course I'm gladly following :)
Blessings

Exactly was I've been thinking too Sheri.
I have 2 boys, Riley, 21 and Colt 19. Yes I have Brittany, 23, but my boys are just a little extension of Randy and I that nobody can take away or adjust. They are both very very diff. Riley the "hands on" guy, Colt the book worm. Same values, kindness and love towards people and us, but such different characters. Brittany was the actress, the singer, the model, the leader and so so sweet and kind till she turned 16..... of course she never loss track of "herself", but her and I went through a difficult time for a few yrs. Now that she's on her own (since the age of 18) and has a guy in her life, a steady job, we see more of her. I can only still be in her presents for no more than 4 hrs. or so. We are both very head strong... so I guess she takes after me, HA!!
We love them all, but boys are special aren't they Sheri? I know you adore your girls, but I'm not sure I could have a house full of them, lol.
Happy weekend my friend.
Love You
Love me
