It was a week of non-stop fun with my girls and grandkids. I just got home, and this grandma is pooped, but I will share a few pics with you today.
Jess bought me the prettiest soft pink roses at Trader Joes. They lasted until I left.
Jess had a little stuffed ghost that I loved. She would have given it to me, but there was no room in my tote bag. When someone sees anything in our house and wants it, we always give it to them. We are a very generous family.
I watched little Charlotte all week long. Back in the day, I was with my little ones day in and day out, and I was pleasantly surprised that it all came back to me....the changing, the feeding, the constant watchful eye that is needed to care for a two year old, and the hugs.
We did lots of coloring. I'm glad my grandgirls take an interest in craft projects, as I used to enjoy them as well.
Jess teaches elementary school, and every week the students can take home the class stuffed turtle. They have to write down where they went with it all week, and what they did. It's just sort of a fun thing that Jess does in her classroom.
We did lots of shopping too. There was a cute section at Michaels of Alice in Wonderland, and me and Nel both loved this painting, so she got it and hung it on the wall near her kitchen.
It's good to be home, and I'll share lots more next time.
