Jess, your photos and thoughts are spot on! It's the little things that pass us sometimes that we really need to focus on. Monterey is so lovely and you have captured its beauty. Enjoy your weekend. ♥
Loved this post, right up my street. ' beauty is in the eye of the beholder' can't remember who wrote that, must look it up.
Lovely pics, Jess! Happy weekend!
Lots here all different.Merle...........
It's so nice to share different things, different photo's.Have a lovely weekendAll the best Jan
What beautiful photos. I love when you can see all the details of unique items. I went through Monterey in 2014 but didn't get down to the water, I wish I had. It looks so inviting.
Hi JessOh yes all you've shown us and a whole lot more makes me happy! What's the blue fish on the paving about - I haven't been to Monterey so I apologise for being ignorant!LOVE the old door handle, I'm always zooming in on details like that too.Great post!Shane
Your details are SO interesting! Having a camera phone has totally changed my perspective. I've only owned cheap cameras and never had one along when I "needed" it. Now, I am always poised to capture a "detail" that grabs my attention.
Such beautiful photos!! Thank you for visiting my blog <3 and for the kind words. Yes, Valentines Day is celebrated in Greece, although not as big as the US!Have a great weekend!!
"Zooming in" is what it's all about for any artist. To capture the WHOLE landscape is fine, but to select a detail and to explore it from different angles is something I am learning in my photography. In poetry as well, it is of utmost importance. In life, too! Those fish on the sidewalk, I thought I've seen them before! We were just in Monterey last June!
Be Happy! I wish the world could be a happier place. yvonne
I used to live right down the road from there in Pebble Beach and it's one of my favorite places. Loved all the details :)
Gorgeous Jess!Love your captures and glad you had such a good tripxoAll my heart,Deborah
Beautiful! Thanks so much for sharing ~xoPat
Jess, I liked the blue fish picture so much that I copied and put it in my "Jess' pictures" folder. :)
