Jewel Ornament

Those that really know me, know that I love jewels.  When I saw this jewel ornament, I thought it was a beauty and had to buy it.  I can't wait to get my tree so I can hang this right in front.

Different angles of the ornament.

The most precious jewels
you'll ever have
around your neck are the arms
of your children.

Jess, I was your age in this picture, and your brother was around two.  Since I'm getting over a bad cold, I thought a hot bowl of soup would hit the spot, so my son met me at one of my favorite restaurants this week for a bowl of tortilla soup.  I love soups when it's cold out, especially when feeling under the weather.

Two pies,
because one is just never enough. ; )

Baby roses for Francesca.

*ornament is from Pier 1 Imports.

What a cute ornament. I LOVE that picture of you and Jess. Were we ever that young? Seems like a long time ago sometimes and then again, it seems like yesterday.

Hope you have a great Thanksgiving day---or what is left of it. xo Diana

Sheri, I'm sorry to hear that cold is still hanging on. I agree, soup tastes so good when we have colds. Your pies are so yummy looking! I didn't eat dessert today--mainly because I really did overeat all the other yummy food!
Your jeweled ornament is lovely. Just like you, sweetie. Take care of yourself! ♥

Love seeing glimpses of your life...that ornament is a beauty...and that quote is so, so true. Nothing quite like the arms of a child. A good tight hug from Lorelei can make all the difference.

I love jewels and bling myself. Love that ornament. Very, very pretty, it will look great on a tree. That soup sounds good, but at this time, I am still too stuffed. Hoping you had a great day today.

Precious photo of you and your son. You are blessed to have loving, considerate children. I know the soup plus your son's company helped you to feel better. Your ornament is very unique and will be beautiful in the lights of Christmas.

Oh Sheri, you are SO GORGEOUS. That photo of you and your dear son is precious. What a gift to be a mother, and in my case, I consider it a gift to be a teacher...some of those darling kids really do look up to you as a mom...some have even accidentally slipped and have called out to me saying, "MOM!" teeeheeeeee

That is a great quote; the most precious jewels one could ever wear around their neck are the loving arms of a child. And your jewel ornie is sweet!!! I hope you feel better soon!

Such a beautiful ornament, when the tree lights hit it, it will sparkle and send out ray's of different colors. Oh, just so pretty. I would not be able to put that away, it would rest until next season, in my cabinet.

I count you among my blessing, I just love blogging friends.

Wonderful christmas ornament, Sheri!
I also like soup. Actually today I made pumpkin soup from my Hokkaido harvet. I never had Tortilla soup, but I liked the udon soup which I had in Tokyo.
I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving with lots of good food.
Happy belated Thanksgiving!

Oh Sheri, the jeweled ornament is charming. I can see why you wanted it. Thanks so much for your sweet and welcome visits. By the way, the poinsettia bed cover in my small Christmas dollhouse is actually a handkerchief! Such fun. Hope your holiday was truly blessed. Hugs. Susan

I like the way you think Sheri - you can't have too much sparkle. Or pie.
Hope you're feeling better.
