Heavy winds all day yesterday brought down most of the remainder of our leaves and rain all day long today, then 29 degrees low forecast for the weekend should make it seem like winter for sure here. But each season is beautiful in its own time, isn't it?

The wind is fierce today...which I do not like.My hair looks bad enough ..LOL I know your state needs rain...I hope it is not too heavy but keeps raining and snowing in the mountains. The squirrel is so cute. Ours here are called red squirrels...more of a rusty color. Up north here in Indiana are black squirrels. we had a lot of rain too , but todaythe sun is shining very bright and showing me my windows need to be cleaned :) I am waiting for my granddaugther , her parents are so busy most of the time and I am here for her when necessary . I am so so lucky . I often think about how my life was when my own children were young . I was a stay-at-home mom BY CHOICE ! after being a teacher for many years I wanted to be a full-time mom . Ans I was able to ! I never asked my mother to babysit or have the children . Now I see what she missed . Okay my mother lived to far away so the distance was a problem too but ....... I now know how joyfull it is to be able to are a part of my granddaugther's life . I did not gave that to my mother . The generation of our children as addults is showing me a lot about life and living and making choices . I am so greatful for all of that . I wish you and your family happy november days with lots of sharing .
