A Taste Of Winter And Pie

You may have heard
about the big storm that
hit California.

gusty winds
overflowing streams
streets flooding.
trees and branches
blowing down.
 
ah, my girl's
getting all wet.
 
 
But in the end,
it was a blessing and
I dearly appreciate
the rain.  We needed it so.
 
 
Me and husband
are going to get some
pie.  I hope we don't
get blown away.

    So glad for the rain down here too Sheri… lets hope that there isn't too much devastation, we so need the rain. Sounds like a perfect day to go out for pie with your hubby… Enjoy!

    I didn't think we had it that bad here in So CA. I am so thankful that we did get rain. I am looking forward to more rain next week.

    I was so worried about you all yesterday; we went out after work and got home rather late, but I'm glad to hear that not much damage was done. This is the kind of weather we typically get here in Minnesota in MAY! But I am so glad my dear friend, that you all finally got the rain you so need.

    Good morning precious friend! BERRY PIE? OK, now, having grown up in California, we used to go to Knott's Berry Farm in Buena Park. The taste of their homemade boysenberry pie is a sensation I will never forget. How I love that flavor!

    Even in Germany we heard of this big storm and as our little daughter is still in California, we are of course very interested in it. But she is fine and you too, so take care my friend!

    Oh yes, we certainly needed the rain. We did pretty well here. It reminds me of the storms we used to have as I was growing up in Loomis. :) Enjoy the rain my dear!
