Having Fun With Jewelry

I met my brother and childhood friend at Starbucks last week.  We had a nice visit talking about what's going on in each other's lives.  This friend of ours goes way back to when our mothers were friends, so it is always special to hook up with her.


After awhile, she showed me some of the latest jewelry that she sells from the company she works for.  I really like this jewelry because it's good quality and not too expensive.  This is part of the set that I bought for Jess.  I can't show you the other half because it's a surprise for her.

Mulberry and fuchsia are really in right now, and this is one of their radiant pieces.


I want to buy this for Nel for the holidays.  It's so her.

    Do I love jewelry - you bet I do. Good and costume - doesn't matter just as long as it's jewelry LOL
    I love the big necklaces they are wearing now - just stunning. But being retired I don't get to wear it much anymore, but I do even when I am grocery shopping.

    There are some very pretty pieces here and all so varied too. I especially like the turquoise. Choosing just the right jewellery can make such a difference to an outfit. Statement necklaces are a favourite of mine at the moment. I hope you have been enjoying your weekend!

    I love jewelry..I am trying to remember to wear it more often. LOL during hot flash days I could NOT wear a necklace without breaking out in a sweat..Now it is better.. This jewelry is really pretty...

    This really does look like pretty jewelry and something I would like, too. I wear lots of jewelry. And I like to wear several bracelets at the same time...all silver or silver with turquoise. Makes you feel pretty! Hugs, Diane

    To answer your question, "Do you like to wear jewelry?" Ha! I have a DRESSER (large one too) for a jewelry holder. One drawer for bracelets, one large one for earrings, pins share another drawer with, ah, well, MORE earrings, and on and on.

    Yes. I guess I could say I love jewelry. Of course, most of mine is "junk"----from estate and yard sales, but who cares? It gives me a jolt of happiness when I wear it to go out of the house. Susan

    Your friends jewelry is gorgeous and you did a great job photographing it. Very Nice!!!
    I love jewelry, and admire it on other people, but tend to keep it simple for myself. (I need to work on that) :) My favorites are chunky faux pearls.

    Very pretty pieces, Sheri, I like especially the turqoise ring and the fuchsia jewelry. But in fact I am rather the sports girl (haha - woman!) who seldom wears jewelry and if, then only more less. And I like earrings but cannot wear them due to allergy.
