A Valentine For Me

The other day I was talking to a friend about getting real.  While I know it's important to be sensible, cautious, aware, and real, at the same time I hope I never lose my sweetness.  Many people in the world can be harsh and bitter sometimes, and my hope is that love will always remain in my heart.   

The very next day I was shopping and came across this Valentine, and I just had to get it.

    We do need sweetness. So many people seem to have hang ups for nothing really.

    XOXOXOOX - and sweetness is strength, isn't it? It truly is. Hey, not to say I haven't been the opposite...WOOO HOOO! But when all is said and done, gentleness is the best "ammunition" against all hatred. I love what Martin Luther King jr. said, "Darkness cannot drive out darkness. Only light can do that." Sweetness is light and does it ever burn so bright.
