Afternoon Tea

We spent this Mother's Day creating our new blog design. 


It was nice to enjoy a cup of hot tea while we worked. 


We visited the Queen Mary tearoom this weekend and treated ourselves to these delicate china teacups after viewing the Princess Diana exhibit. 




It's been a lovely couple days with all the kids "back in the nest" for Mother's Day.


 We hope you had a nice weekend with the ones you love too!

    LOVELY teacups. My MIL used to collect them. When she passed I inherited them. I NEVER use them for fear they will break.

    Happy Mothers day Sheri and so lovely that you were able to have your loved ones home.
    The teacups are so pretty and isn't it always so much nicer drinking out of fine bone china.

    I love it!! As soon as I saw the script I smiled. Can't get enough of that. Love the header too.
    Glad to hear you enjoyed your day, Sheri. I had one of the most special Mother's Days ever, and even received a little surprise in my front yard...a nest. :) Couldn't believe when I saw your pic just now.
    It's special because I found one in our first home which I display on a cake stand and now I have one from this home too. Yay. Little things like this thrill me.
