Stop and Smell The Roses

This is the last of my summer roses.  I have a feeling that they will only bloom for another month.  When I saw the color I thought it was very unique - a combination of pink and coral.  They stand in my front yard and I smile every time I pass them.

roses makes

Have a nice weekend, friends.

  1. Hi Sheri:
The color of that rose is breahtakingly beautiful. I have a bush in my garden that resembles that color and right now my entire rose garden is in bloom. I am afraid it is the last summer bloom! I never fail to clip a few to bring inside.

  8. Lovely color indeed.
And the exquisiteness of the petals' shape and frill is nothing of less importance.
The ones I have blooming (you can see them at my NR blog) have a more dark color but I always feel blessed witnessing their beauty.
Thank you for sharing your roses, your beauty and your kindness!

  13. Beautiful Sheri,

You do NOT know how much your recent comments from yesterday mean to me...they came at a very timely moment. Struggling with change, a lull in sales and confusion about my future, just knowing that I am of some importance to anyone is a great comfort. Thank you. The trick is remembering that my worth is not summed up in how many sales I make but in what I give away from my life. THANK YOU. Peace and beauty to you and the girls, Anita

  17. I also love roses and their beautiful smell. Each time I pass along my roses, I have to put my nose in their flower head. They are blooming for the second time now and I enjoy it so much!

Beautiful rose. Seems like I wait all year and have such a short season to really enjoy them. I guess it is true that we need to stop and smell the roses....while they are here. Hope that you are having a nice summer...mine has been a little busier than I'd like. Looking for a little slower Fall and Winter season. ((hugs))

  22. Hi Sheri!
It was so great hearing from you! I have been thinking about you quite a bit. I am back in blog land again after a crazy summer. We are part of the Waldo Canyon fire so what an interesting past several months it had been. Thank you for sharing your beautiful roses with us. Such a breath of fresh air in the simple things we can take for gradit.
