Just got home this afternoon. I took a road trip with my son for about five days. We did a lot and met with family. I don't like traveling, but it wasn't too bad cause it was mostly highway. Open roads and a long drive, listening to classic songs like Take It Easy, by the Eagles. I'm tired, and need to rest, but will tell you about my road trip soon.
"Come on baby, don't say maybe
I gotta know if your sweet love is gonna save me."
lyrics, Take It Easy
~Sheri
Can't wait for more photos, and I hope you get a good long rest. Travelling is fun, but can really wear you out.
ReplyDeleteCan’t wait to hear all about it. Get some rest.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you had a good trip! It's a great time of year to travel! Enjoy your week...get some rest!
ReplyDeleteSounds wonderful Sheri and sweet photo too. Looking forward to more posts about your trip. Have a great week :)

ReplyDeleteAlways nice to go. Even better to be home, filled with the memories made. Have a cozy day, my friend.
ReplyDeleteYou got to see your daughter and granddaughter - I know you were happy about that. Five days with lots of driving is hard. I bet you are tired. I used to love to travel not so much anymore. Now it seems that there is no place like home. I love that song by the Eagles. Nice you did get to see your family and that your son got to go too and drive! Looking forward to more. sandie
ReplyDeleteLooks like it was a wonderful adventure.
ReplyDeleteI used to love to travel but since 2020, I am content at home. I do enjoy day trips. Plus I don't want to leave my fur babies.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to hear all about your trip. It is nice to get away but for some of us, nicer to get back home to the regular day to day.
Looking forward to your travel post my dear, rest well.
ReplyDeleteLove, Carla

Remember when we couldn't wait to take a road trip? Now it wears me out, too. It's all that sitting, I think. If I don't move regularly, I turn into a pumpkin. Haha! It's nice to visit family - hope you made some lovely memories. Can't wait to hear the news. Rest up, sweet friend. Hugs xo K
