Pumpkin Pleasures

Nel picked up a few pumpkin goodies the last time she was at Trader Joes.  She said the pumpkin cranberry crisps were so good, and she likes the pumpkin spice tea so much that she got two containers.

Jess also got a few goodies at Trader Joes.
She even found a Harvest pasta sauce with pumpkin
and butternut squash.

And I got some pumpkin goodies at different stores as well.  I found this wall hanging and had to buy it, cause my mom used to dance in her kitchen all the time while cooking.

When Nel sent me this picture it really got to me, as I used to read The Berenstain Bears to my kids all the time.  To see my daughter reading to her daughter was a precious sight to me.

I had my first pumpkin pie of the season at my favorite bakery in the country.

I asked for two pumpkin cookies to take home, and she threw in a ghost too.  She is always sweet to me and made me a fresh pot of coffee.

I thought Nel would love this sign, as this is her favorite coffee during the Autumn season.

What's this little pumpkin coming towards me?

As you can see,
this is a pumpkin loving family.  ; )

  1. Fun to see all the pumpkin treats you found. I like the pumpkin latte and pumpkin cheesecake that my daughter always serves on Thanksgiving.
Enjoyed your photos, especially that little pumpkin out for a stroll!

I think I would do really well with your family! haha....however, I am not a fan of pumpkin tasting coffee. Just can't do that. haha....oh well, to each there own. Thinking of making pumpkin bread today. I have some folks at the barn leaving to stall somewhere eles and they have been such a big help with me girl that I want to do something for them. Thanks for the great pics and sharing with us. Those baby girls are so sweet.

  6. Hi Sheri, I'm so happy to see these beautiful pictures, though this festival is not celebrated here in India but i always enjoy Halloween celebration pictures on fellow bloggers's blog every year. I never eat pumpkin pie but it sounds and looks so tasty. The picture of mother with baby and that baby girl is so pretty.

I have got to get some pumpkin ice cream. That is my favorite thing in pumpkin flavor. Love that adorable baby face with a pumpkin hair band. Isn't that sweet. Blessings to all, xoxo, Susie

  12. This post makes me want to hop in my car and drive to Trader Joe's. I love a good pumpkin spice chai latte. The loaf cake looks amazing. And what a sweet pumpkin in the last picture. Then reading to babies is so very special. It will give the gift of the love of books. My grandson can still entertain himself for a long time looking at books and now beginning to figure out the words. Happy pumpkin time!

  17. I also love the sign, "This Kitchen is for Dancing!" We do that too... especially when a favorite song comes on the radio!

And the Berenstain Bears has always been a family favorite for us, as well! They always have good moral lessons... that carry on from generation to generation!

  18. Hello dearest Sheri!

Oh the pumpkin season is so glorious, isn't it! Actually, I don't like the taste of pumpkin itself, but I do love the spices, the apple cider and all the other flavors of the season. Your sweet family is a blessing dear friend.

  23. I think your and your daughters' love of pumpkin treats rivals even my cousin DeEtta's who also cleans TJ's out of it this time of year. But your two cute little punkin's are the sweetest treat of all!

I'm a caramel lover myself but I think I need to give pumpkin another try!

  34. My dear dear Sheri, thank you once again for coming to my blog post. Autumn here has been such a delight, and today we went out to enjoy it for the last time because our peak hit on Saturday. The winds came and blew off most of the color, but what a show it was! PINK, can you believe it?
