Just Because

Loved this welcome mat from Target.
It was so me.

Outside my front window

Summer flowers

Flag blowing in the summer breeze

Sometimes I'll have a bagel and
coffee for breakfast.
This one is cinnamon raisin, Yum.

At the park,
I thought it was pretty
how the sprinklers came together
and made a cross.

Not sure the name of this bird,
but it's sweet.
He looks funky with those
long legs.

This is where I'll put all my
ideas and goodies for Jess' baby shower.

My computer desk,
where all my thoughts begin,
and where I correspond with special you.

My vanity table,

and when I lift the lid,
a note from someone dear to me.

Happy July, friends.

love,
~me

  1. Sheri, That mat is perfect for you...you seem to be a bird watcher and lover . That bird looks very much like a "jail" bird, wearing those stripes...yes, I would definitely say jailbird. LOL I love you blogging corner. I truly need to clean our office...it's a messy room. :) Wishing you and yours a great holiday weekend. Blessings, love, xoxo, Susie

  3. Wonderful glimpse into your lovely day, dear Sheri! I feel like I am tagging along right beside you :) I love your new mat and the sweet little coffee cup. I am drinking the very same coffee right now - my favorite brew. Love your pretty vanity and the sweet note inside. Beautiful photos - love the flag and the pretty bird. I believe it is a Kildeer - a type of plover. We had one in the field down the road for years until horses moved in (they nest on the ground). So exciting that you are planning a baby shower! Sending hugs and blessings for your weekend. xo Karen

  20. Good morning dear heart!

July is here, and we've been ushering it in with lots of gardening. I missed being on line yesterday due to being outside all-day-long. It was bliss.

That bird is DARLING. I've never seen one like him, and the rings around his neck; he looks as if he's wearing a necklace!

I love where your "thoughts begin." I'm glad you take the time to think, reflect, then write. You are a special gift to us all.
