My girl statue had the sun's
reflection on it early
one morning.
It was so pretty,
Here she is with a redder rose
and redder lips. ;)
flowers in my town
Thick lovely clouds on this
This tree is in my neighborhood.
The blossoms are huge.
A happy week to you,
~Sheri
Beautiful photos! From what I can tell, it looks like a Magnolia bloom.... we have a huge one in our yard and it is just beautiful when it opens. I agree, the more beauty we can surround ourselves with, the better!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful week!
Blessings,
Jill
I long for the simpler times when things were not so bad in the world, or if they were we just did not hear as much about it. Beautiful post Sheri! Thank you for sharing that will all of us. I love to photography Magnolia blooms and they are really neat to paint also. I am all about surrounding myself with what I feel is beautiful, what I like to make me happy. Just the other day I took a ride down a lane that is so covered with trees, its so peaceful, you meet a car now and again, and its only one lane.....I did it cause that lane makes me happy, brings me peace. I went down it to one end and turned around and went back the way I come just to do it twice! :)
ReplyDeleteYes i Will.....lokking at the smallest things of this world.....That are the most beautiful things.....love you Sheri.....happy week love ria x ❤️
ReplyDeleteYour girl statue is beautiful Sheri, and what a sweet photo catching her in the sunlight. I love to see statues outside in the garden, always complements the flowers. You have some lovely spring flowers too.
ReplyDeleteLove.
ReplyDeleteYour flower photos are very nice! Love the little girl figurine with the red rose. She can be the mascot for your blog!
ReplyDeleteAnd this is what I want to do more of; I want to wander around my town and just embrace the light and shadows. OH SHERI, that light on the statue is perfection. Doesn't it just move you, this shift of illumination that we find ourselves chasing before it changes and is never the same again?
ReplyDeleteLove the flowers. Oh how I love summer.
Your statue is so lovely with the sun shining on her. The magnolia blossom is so pristine. This is a pretty season for a drive around town.
ReplyDeleteLove the clouds...we have been having some of those. Beautiful magnolia shot...and I love the one above the cloud shot. A daylily I think.
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, the shots of the statue are beautiful...
I love your statue to pieces! Beautiful photo and what a special moment. And tons of lovely flowers all around!
ReplyDeleteSheri, your little girl statue is so unique--so sweet with the rose! I love the clouds and the beautiful flowers you have featured. Your photography is excellent! You visit the most lovely spots, my friend. ♥
ReplyDeleteSuch sweet and lovely photos, Sheri! You have captured the innocence of your little statue so nicely and the beautiful scenes around your town. That garden of blue flowers is so incredible! Lovely to see the magnolia . It is too cool here for magnolias, so I have to settle for look-alike camellias. Don't you just love this time of year? Sending hugs xo Karen
ReplyDeleteThank you, thank you, thank you for nourishing my heart today with your sweet and serene photos. That is either a magnolia or camellia, although I think a camellia has more rows of petals.
ReplyDeleteBlessings to you, dear!
I'm sure I must sound like a broken record, but there's just something about your photos that is so captivating. You really have a knack for capturing the light andconceying just the right mood.
ReplyDeleteThe blue flowers are so pretty! (I think those flowers are camellias too).

ReplyDeleteGood Morning Dear Sheri!
ReplyDeleteOh yes, you have a beautiful Magnolia! Maybe you could pick one of the blossoms and let it float in a clear glass bowl on a side table in your home:) Lovely photos and I agree with the majority of your friends that you have such an eye for light and caught it beautifully on this sweet, sweet statue.
Happy day to you dear friend.
Love,
Jemma
