Rainbow Toadstools

After the wedding festivities, all I wanted to do was get in my car and take a drive in the country.  Well, I did just that, and I noticed a delightful nursery in the town of Loomis.   I've seen it before many times from the road, but this time, I stepped inside.

To my surprise was an enchanting nursery filled with all kinds of trees, flowers, and wonder.  I didn't want to leave.

As I was walking through the nursery, mist started to fill the air.  It was so pretty.

Around the corner glass toadstools caught my eye.

More pictures of the mist.

These purple petunias draped the awning that lead to another area of the nursery.

I noticed they had a little restaurant next to it, and I'd like to come back soon for breakfast.

We see so many
beautiful things when we
leave the comfort
of our own towns and
explore another.

I have a couple of the toadstools and a couple have been broken and they really cheer up a pot full of flowers.

Thanks for taking us on this lovely tour.

    Have a great week,

    Hugs,
    Mary

  9. Oh so enchanting, I do love traveling and finding wonders of other places. My husband is in landscape/construction and brings home flowers and trees to nurse back and enjoy in our own yard. Nurseries are such great design inspiration.

  16. Exploration is vital for so many reasons, first being of course, to BE DAZZLED! Don't you just love to walk into a nursery? It's like walking in WONDERLAND and you don't want to leave! Then when you come home, you see more in your own backyard. Oh dearest Sheri, HUGS TO YOU!

  17. Oh this is a pretty place Sheri. I love garden centres too, and they are best with a Cafe, so we can linger. The mist makes it so special. Happy days.

  26. I can see why this would be a perfect place to visit after all the craziness of planning and having a wedding in the family! Funny about those glass toadstools -- I just saw (and photographed -- eventually you'll see it!) a similar arrangement during my Martha's Vineyard trip! I wish I had bought one but I was a little worried about getting it home all in one piece!
