Summer Roses

My summer roses
are doing nicely.  The
pink ones are
 blooming like crazy.

Not too many of
the yellow ones, but I
see buds getting ready to
bloom.

There's alot of the
white ones, a full bush.

A few red ones,
but oh, so pretty.

I think it's time to touch up
my lady statue.  She's
chipping from the heat and rain.
(my sister gave this to me many years ago, and I've had it ever since).

The pink blossom trees
are blooming right now in the
neighbor's back yard
and mine.

I just love looking out the
back door and
seeing my roses.  And I
am out there clipping and pruning
and weeding almost
every day.

  3. Sheri,
It is always so interesting to me, to see that you and I have very similiar plants in our gardens. I know that when I visit Amanda I see so many sister plants.
I am happy to see your garden and that you are enjoying her so much. All of your roses are lovely and I have always been drawn to that shade of rose for a crepe myrtle.
    Is this called watermelon?

Have a lovely week dear Sheri!
    Love,
    Jemma

  8. Your very obvious love of roses reminds me of the fact that roses are America's favorite flower. There's even an American Rose Society dedicated to the promotion of roses.
    Anyway, your roses are stunning!

  17. Sheri, how beautiful! I love the white ones. I'd love to have all white flowers. I often frequented a shop called The White Rabbit that had a white garden. I felt like I was in heaven. The little cabin was white and she had mostly white in every room. She also had different rooms with blue glass, green class and pink glass.

  27. Dear Sheri,
I know what you mean. You have a 35 year old daughter, but I have a granddaughter that turned 30 today!

Oh your roses! They are just beautiful, Sheri.. Mine are not doing well. The heat has make the roses crispy! The leaves look horrible... All the new plants I put in this spring have not survived, with the exception of the Lavender bushes. But they too are not looking very well.

    Enjoy your week!
    blessings,
    Penny
