Fabulous pictures to greet August! This month is usually dominated by heat and humidity and your cool flowers and birds give us a little blessed breeze.
Lovely photos of Summer, Sheri. That is a great woodpecker picture. I had never seen one until last year in Canada and when I saw one up a tree, just like that, I thought it was a fake - until it suddenly started pecking! What strange birds they are.

The pink feet of the dove looks so pretty next to the fallen pink petals. The regal eagle in the sky looms over us to remind us of something greater in the sky, and our hearts are glad.
Oh wow, these pictures are so great! It's not easy (at least for me) to photograph wild animals but you managed perfectly! Enjoy your first week of August!

Squirrels, a love and hate relationship, they dig on my garden, eat the birds food, they are everywhere like pests, but how not to love them?
