Doll From France

This doll is very special to me.  It was hand made by my blog friend, Jill, in France.  I put her out to reflect on what's happening in France right now.  This doll is a keepsake given to me a few years ago, and I will look at it and reflect on the people in Nice during this sad time, especially the children.

  2. She is lovely...

But the first thing I thought of, when seeing your Subject Line, was the doll, in my post....

And I commend you, for mentioning the latest attack. Seems the rest of Pretty Blog Land, can just go on, as if nothing has happened. Which confuses me. But of course, that is my problem.

    Gentle hugs...

  3. What a dainty sweet doll. My heart goes out to all the victims in Nice and their families and to all of us worldwide who are being jolted by attacks by Islamic terrorists. These attacks break our hearts.

  12. Innocence.
An object made by hand, as opposed to the violence at the hands of people who do not understand but NEED grace and healing themselves.

A lovely and perfectly French inspired beauty.

Much love to you dear heart.

  13. Dear Sheri,

What a wonderful gift from France.

I was awake still at 11pm on Friday.. I thought.. I'll just see the late night news and catch up on things.. and to my horror.. saw the whole thing on tv news.. it had just happened.. people were still running on the esplanade.. Horrific ,horrific.. murder.

Poor poor people ..Men, women and children..

    A lovely post Sheri..
    god bless them all.

  19. She's beautiful. Truly lovely, and her eyes seem to be all knowing.

Sadly, this violence seems to be a way of life. Now Baton Rouge. Where next?!
