Someone carved these words
on the wooden table
that is in the
center of the garden.
There's not just roses there,
but other flowers as well.
It was nice going back-
it's been about two years
since my last visit.

What a lovely place to visit. Just out side of the city of Limoges ( famous for it's porcelain) there is a rose garden which we found last year. There were so many red roses it made me think of you, The rose garden in French is La Roseraie. Your daughter who visited France will probably know that. You must go again and take a picnic, we did and it was so lovely. I plan to visit ours again this year when the roses are in bloom.

Sheri,
ReplyDeleteSo thankful that you found that "beautiful," spot and it sounds like it did your heart and soul good.
Nature has a way of doing that doesn't it my dearest.
We have so much to be thankful for this Easter weekend and our Lord and Savior is the reason.
Love,
Jemma

What a find Sheri!
ReplyDeleteI could easily join you there, we could share a little picnic and make notes on the roses we want to add to our own gardens!
I hope you revisit each year and show us the progress - it seems to be a fairly new garden.
Happy weekend
