A Little Bit Of Easter Around My House

I've been wanting this little table at Target for some time, so I decided to get it.   It has glass doors that open and two spacious shelves to put things inside.

I put my Easter décor on top of it, and I'm glad that I eventually bought this little table.

This is a special picture that I put out each year from Kim at Daisy Cottage.

Easter's right around the corner.
Do you decorate for it?

  1. Your decorations are perfect. :-)

I haven't really decorated, since Christmas. And of course, I used to decorate for just about everything. :-)

I culled a lot of old decorations. Then I'm not feeling *guilty* if I don't tote them down and use them, and tote them back upstairs again. ,-)

    Gentle Spring hugs,
    Tessa

  5. Good Afternoon Sheri, It is lovely to catch up with you. I have loved seeing your Easter decorations, as I tend not to decorate at Easter time. The only decoration I do at Easter time, is hang decorated eggs from Forsythia stems. The Forsythia is the first bush to flower during Spring time and nine times out of ten it co-incides with Easter, so it is the perfect branch to use. This year, because of all the rain we've had over winter, my Forsythia bush is not doing so well, so I think I will use willow branches instead.
    Have a lovely weekend.
    Best Wishes

  8. I was hoping we would get to see your table after you mentioned it recently, and now we have, thank you.

I love the colour of it and it displays your Easter Décor brilliantly.

I always have an Easter Corner with Easter Baskets, Chicks and yellow Spring flowers - but I will wait a while before getting it ready.

    Happy weekend wishes

    All the best Jan

  10. Sheri, I can see why you had your eye on that sweet cabinet! The color is great and the decorations on top are so lovely. Your Easter decor makes me yearn to put out ours, but alas we are renovating and it would just be dusty. The little chick with the crown made me laugh! Have a great evening, dear Sheri. xo ♥

  13. I do decorate Sheri - more so since the shops have some nice Easter pieces these days. I buy a new bunny each year, and now I have five in different colours. Your new furniture piece is gorgeous, and I love the colour. Happy Sunday. xx

  14. Good morning darling friend! I love that little duckling! They are hilariously cute both as babies and as adults.....they "smiles" make ME smile!

I don't typically decorate for Easter since it's such a short holiday, but this year, I put out just ONE set of three small white rabbits with aqua eggs. That's it! But if decorating for SPRING counts, YES. With the limited weekend time I have, I am slowly putting my winter décor away (not Christmas, but winter whites), and bringing out more aqua colors. It is so refreshing to make the change.

Enjoy your pretty new table! Love the color!

  17. Hello my friend and happy Sunday! Thank you for visiting my Instagram! Yes, that is my marble fireplace and my favorite roses of all time. According to the label on the roses, they are "Marianna Garden" roses. So layered and wonderful! You can see my set of three white rabbits on my Instagram as well with the aqua eggs!!! Have a lovely Sunday!

  18. Good Afternoon Sheri,
I am happy that you purchased this new cabinet and the color is positively perfect.
Your Easter decorating is sweet and I can easily see why your put out the endearing and whimsical photo of the ducklings this time of the year.
Isn't it just a marvelous time of the year, dear friend?
The beauty of nature all around us, rebirth indeed.
Have a lovely Sunday, dearest Sheri.
    Love,
    Jemma

  19. Your little table is wonderful, Sheri! Such a gorgeous shade of blue! And all your sweet Easter decorations look perfect, too. Love the little statue holding the egg and your little fuzzy chick with a crown. Easter is so early this year - but I found my things from storage and will decorate today. I hope you are having a lovely Sunday with time to relax. Hugs to you xo Karen

  20. What a pretty piece of furniture! I love the color and thought you had painted it. I put out a few things for Spring. And I miss Kim from Daisy Cottage, don't you? She lives in Florida too. Hugs, Diane

  21. Before we get into that tell me - what quote did you put on that gorgeous pink frame?
I usually do this and that vignette but this year I don't feel I have the strength and stamina for it. I might be proved wrong once I take a couple of days on Holly Week - dear daughter is going to remove the wisdom teeth (2 now, 2 later) and I'm already dreading the time at home with her (when hurting she has the worst of the two chromosomes ;) - whines like a girl and is angry for hurting like a boy :().
Let's see. I'm really playing by ear this year. So I'm really living vicariously through your creations and amazing purchases.
I love the table. I'm hopeless with glass doors that allow us to explore the not so hidden treasures that it holds. I absolutely LOVE the color! Well done all around, Dear Friend!

  26. Target has the cutest furniture -- the cabinet is adorable as is your Easter décor. I really love that duck picture! I normally decorate quite a bit for every holiday but this year, I seem to be in a bit of a 'funk' and haven't gotten in gear. Maybe because it is coming so early this year? Anyway -- I enjoyed YOUR décor!

  27. My Daughter bought me a Mr and Mrs bunny like the one you have on the dresser.
Log legs and just sit anyplace. My Grand Mothers cottage is on the Atlantic coast of Ireland. There is a road in front of her house that you can drive on the edge
of the cliffs, ocean waves beating beneath. Drive a fourth of a mile and you are Lord M.tBattens Castle. I should do a post on it . There is no roof on it. The Law in Ireland is no roof no tax. Happy St Oats Day. yvonne
