Out Of The Ordinary

I was driving down a main street in my town, and I saw something very out of the ordinary.  This street is a lively one, and it's a main road to get to the places you want to go to in my town.  It's actually one of my favorites, with charming old cottages that have been around for years.  There are stops signs on every corner, so you can easily see the happenings going on.  All of a sudden, a man appeared and he started shouting and acting very mad.  He threw his hands up in the air and yelled, "I hate the way I'm treated!"  He said it again and then again, "I hate the way I'm treated," as he walked across the street.  It would have seemed that he was a mad man to the average eye, but he wasn't; he was just a man whose heart was broken.  My heart sank, as I was watching this whole scene through my windows, which were rolled up.  I looked over at him and gently said, "I'm sorry, I hate the way I'm treated too."

(this story was focused on my real life world,
not my blog world.  You mean so much to me).

  3. You never know what people are going through inside. I pray that this man finds peace.

We are all so susceptible to a broken heart and yes, sometimes I too don't like the way I'm treated at work and sometimes, you DO just want to scream and just let the offenders know it.

    We love you Sheri!

  10. Sorry that you knew how this poor man felt......

Empathy is one thing... But to _know_ someone else's pain, is a whole other thing.

    Gentle hugs....

  12. We all have our stories. That does seem sad. I was having a bad day at work once and a fellow that we all called "Tommy Jesus" looked at me and said , "God bless you." That just lifted my spirits so much. So I thank him and gave him a card telling him how he made me feel better, the next day. Hope that man's sadness didn't bring you down. You are loved Sheri. By many of your blog family. Me for one. Blessings, love, xoxo,Susie

  20. I remember reading this: assume that everyone you meet has a broken heart because so many do.

Sometimes we need to let blog friends know about our ordinary days too, Sheri.

    Love to you,

  21. I've learned through the years that when you are kinder and more thoughtful you open yourself into more pain than others... because while you're open and trusting giving yourself to others the path is made for what's not so kind and good to enter you.
I'm sorry to read that someone took the chance to... I also know that your beautiful soul heals mores strongly and quickly because of your kindness - you just have to turn ii into inwards - and hopeful ways.
    Hugging you close,
    Teresa
