I am thinking of my
sister lately,
as her husband just
passed away.
In my heart I mourn
for my sister's
sadness. To endure
such a great loss
leaves an emptiness that
will always be.
These are roses that
I've seen around town,
and they are for you,
dear sister.
Your family is in my
thoughts every day.
~Sheri
Oh- yes- I know how you feel. I feel the same way for my sister-in-law since my brother passed away. It has been a hard thing for her. xo Diana

ReplyDeleteAnd that wonderful pink bloom has tears of grief....but your sister is blessed to have you my great friend. Grief is painful, a constant shadow. My parents died 29 years ago this summer, and every mother and father's day, I hurt.
ReplyDeleteBut such is life. And there's nothing we can do about it but love to eternity.
Dear Sheri,
ReplyDeleteMy heart is saddened, and with your sister and you today... I will keep her in my prayers.
Having you there, standing strong for her, as you are, will help more than you know. She is blessed to have you in her life.
Sending you a hug
