The Right Light

As I was walking into the kitchen the other day, I noticed how very pretty my roses looked in the late-afternoon light. 



I just had to stop and take a few pictures. 



The last sun rays of the day are always worth pausing to take in.

    So incredibly beautiful!!!! My little Yorkie Booger always looks for the streaming sunlight coming in the window so he can sunbathe in the warmth!!!

    After a busy few days, I'm finally catching up on my blog reading. Those roses look so perfect and the quote is so true about the effects of the right light. Red roses have always made me think of Valentine's Day and now your blog of course!

    These are so beautiful, it makes me want to go out and buy roses for my house, there doesn’t need to be a particular reason to have them. Roses are definitely my favourite flower and I think they always have been.

    Your roses look absolutely gorgeous with that natural light especially the first pic. Proof that simple things should be appreciated, and maybe I think it is in the eye of the beholder and the mood of the person taking the shot.
