  1. Sheri, I was just telling my husband how wonderful it has been to not have the AC on this summer so far. But come next week, highs near 90 and humidity. Yuck. I have been loving this low humidity and 70's. Hope you at least have some breezes. Hope your weekend is great. xoxo,Susie

  7. Well, it is really H~O~T here! We haven't had hardly any rain. It seems to be all around us but never hits us.

Cute lil turtle, or should I say BIG turtle! We crossed paths with one the other day while on our walk...he was just sauntering across the street like he owned it. LOL

  13. Very cool here in the Berkshires of Western Massachusetts, Sheri! I kept calling it an arctic wind! My hubby even lit the fireplace for dinner guests tonight. Unusual for 14 June!

Love the turtle, but the lizard reminds me of snakes ..... does he come in the house?
    Have a great Fathers Day.

  18. We need some of your heat and sunshine. Last week we had a couple of lovey June days but also thunder and lightning with torrential rain. A grey day today too. What a cute tortoise!

  20. Mary,
These guys were in front of a pet store that we passed by greeting the people, and we couldn't believe how huge they were. They were very friendly too.

  25. Things have been far from lazy for me here in Oregon. I have spent the past 2 months preparing my home to put it on the market. Being a widow now, I must downsize and get a smaller place for me. So no lazy days!
