I Love Presents!

I had a fun birthday yesterday.  I met my sister and brothers for lunch, which was nice.  Nel gave me a gift card from Pier 1 Imports - my favorite shop, and Jess gave me a book.  I used to read the Little Golden Books to my kids when they were little, and when I saw this, it made me smile big.



My sister has a knack of always getting the perfect gift for someone, and she gave me a gorgeous antique bowl showing a woman in the 1800's, some cherub angels, and my favorite gift from her was a red rose tea cup and saucer.




My son made me homemade pizza.  He's a good cook, which is one of his many talents.

    I saw the Golden Book at the book store and was going to make a post about it. But you beat me to it. Just LOVE it. That was a great birthday present. I'm so glad you got to enjoy it. My birthday is at the end of the month so I got mine early.

    The golden dish caught my eye - very beautiful and elegant.
