A Sweet Gift

My husband asked me,
"Did they come yet?"
I answered, "what?"

I looked on the
front porch and saw a
big box.  I guess
they delivered it when
I wasn't home.

I opened the box,
and in it was
12 perfect red roses,
a card, and a
box of chocolates.

What a surprise!

Yes, it was a
sentimental day
for me.

  7. Sweet, sweet.
I got an ice storm, clean up and an "oh yeah, Happy Valentine's Day." But so did he. Actually what I really got was worth more than anything-lights, water, and heat! Insurance will fix the rest.

  23. Dear Sheri: I love "Sweetheart's day" - it is very special to us. Isn't it great to breathe in the gorgeous scent of roses, and your first bite of a yummy chocolate?!

Yes, that song on my blog has very gypsy-like musical tones. I think it's beautiful. If you want songwriter, etc., e-mail me.

Hope you are having a great Valentine weekend!
