Words of Wisdom

Where the mind is without fear and the head is held high
Where knowledge is free
Where the world has not been broken up into fragments
By narrow domestic walls
Where words come out from the depth of truth
Where tireless striving stretches its arms towards perfection
Where the clear stream of reason has not lost its way
Into the dreary desert sand of dead habit
Where the mind is led forward by thee
Into ever-widening thought and action
Into that heaven of freedom, my Father, let my country awake

~Rabindranath Tagore

  4. Good morning dearest one,

I am so late here since we spent all day yesterday enjoying the rare moments of sunlight! Today is another sunny day, so I'm off now to garden. Sending you all much love, Anita

  5. Precious friend, how I adore you...thank you for coming to my post! And you are too, too sweet. That picture of me was taken just last week, the day Ruben took me to the theatre to see a stage production of WAR HORSE! Oh was that a fun and magical afternoon.

Now to get back to my garden; it's a sunny day and I best take advantage of it! LOVE TO YOU ALL! Anita

  6. Beautiful!

    Dear Sheri,
I am back.. Wanted to stop in and thank you for visiting while I was away from the computer.
In answer to your question about the books. I picked them up on front street at the Old Town Antique Faire.
They were on a shelf all the way in the back of the shop.
    Blessings to you
