Sheri,
ReplyDeleteMy grandmother had both breasts removed back when I was around 12 years old long before they really knew what to do other than surgery and chemo. I remember going to see her with my mom after she had to be put into a care home because the cancer had returned in the form of bone cancer. I've known two people who have suffered with bone cancer and it is a very painful death. I helped take care of my mother-in-law's twin sister in what would be the last few months of her life. So sad...
Have a great weekend, Sheri. :)
Thank you to all of you for sharing your touching stories with us.
ReplyDeleteMuch love,
~Sheri
