Yes to the Dress

We had a special outing planned for this afternoon. And I have some exciting news to share...


Today I found the wedding dress of my dreams!


My mom, Jess, and I made an appointment at our local bridal boutique, where I tried on several stunning dresses.




But the emotion I felt when I saw myself in this gown told me right away that it was the one.


I want to wait until the wedding to show you the whole dress, but here's a little sneak peak...


Don't you just love the detail? It feels very 1920s vintage to me.


And it goes perfectly with the veil my grandma made for my mom to wear when she was married 31 years ago.

Soon I'll be walking down the aisle in a dress I love to say "I do" to the man I love even more.

    I LOVE the roaring 20's. If you had that special feeling when you put it on, you have the RIGHT dress. It is beautiful, for sure. And if the veil with all that family history matches it, you are blessed. Thank you for the Sneak Peak. Take care.

    My, I can feel your happiness here because it goes beyond the frills and shines - though you have a keeper with this one (better ask The Priest to give the groom a few minutes to overcome the emotion ;)).

    And all of the sudden you took me back 23 years and that feeling "Here you are!" when we find the right and only one.

    Can imagine a bit of what Sherri felt because, by sharing, you made all of us a bit the Mother of The (most beautiful) Bride.

    I love weddings and wish you the very best day to get married..You know that commercial about the DeBeers jewelry. The young couple pass an older couple. The young women looks back to see the smile of the older lady. So sweet. .You are just starting out and so many of us have been there..I know you will one day be that older couple still holding hands..

    A wedding dress that was taken from the sky. How wonderful fluffy on the back and quick draping on the front. I like the simple life with the stylish intersection below the breast.
