Save-the-Date

Last weekend Jess, my mom, and I all got together for a special little party.

My wedding is just 7 months away! So we wanted to send out our save-the-date postcards.


We had dinner at the cutest little Italian restaurant. The atmosphere was so fun! They had live jazz music playing, the tables were lit up by candles throughout the restaurant, and brightly colored Italian-style paintings hung from the red walls. The food was so delicious too! It was a wonderful way to start off our evening. 


We decided that pink is the perfect color for a wedding planning party with the girls.


So when we got home we mixed ourselves a couple of pink martinis and started the festivities.


Our save-the-dates came together quite nicely.


And when all the work was done, we popped in the very funny Bridesmaids and kicked up our feet to relax.


Let's hope the rest of the wedding planning is just as much fun!

    Good choice of month for a wedding, same month as we chose. It'll be our 2nd anniversary this year and 2nd time around for both of us. Good luck with the planning! Suzy x

    How did I miss this Nel? I didn't know you were getting a wedding all planned out? Only 7 months away OMG... Your mom must be over the moon happy. Planning can be super stressful, but I see you are going to make sure things go smoothly, but most of all have FUN.
    That's the best part for sure.

    How exciting for all of you, but especially for you, Nel!! We have been wedding photographers for many years and I have see scores of weddings, but they never fail to make me misty, and filled with joy! "Bridesmaids" came out just at the right time for you, didn't it!!!
