Last year they did not bloom as they were settling in:) But this year they are putting on a pretty show! Beautiful pictures and the one of the bee is striking. I'm suddenly really appreciating crape myrtles now too, have 2 outside my bathroom window to enjoy and the morning sun shining on them is pure joy. <br /><br />One of my son's is deathly allergic to bee stings and has to carry an epi pen at all times after nearly having breathing shut down at the ER. It amazes me to see people tending their bee hives without a safety suit on.
