Love Is But A Song To Sing

I wanted to go to the
Rose Garden
before summer ends.

These colors remind me
of Fall.

I went inside the church
and lit a candle
for all the members of my family.
Jess, I lit one for the baby too.  : )

Do you see the heart?

First signs of Fall
There's a breeze in the mornings now,
and I can feel it coming.

My first Fall decoration.
The blue velvet is so pretty in person.

I was driving in the car,
and this song came on, I love it.
The world is in turmoil at times,
and I thought this song
was perfect for us to listen to.

I remember that song, Sheri. I would have thought that was a bit before your time, though.
Cute pumpkin and beautiful patches of roses. xo Diana

Such pretty roses, Sheri. You are so lucky to have this pretty spot to visit. I love autumn the best of all the seasons. We are still having heat and humidity, but soon beautiful fall will be here. We surely need to "love one another." This is my prayer, dear Sheri. ♥

There is nothing like a beautiful rose garden Sheri. You must have enjoyed being there as hints of Autumn come (so soon, but we have had a bit of Summer in the middle of Winter). Yes, I see the heart, well captured, and I love the golden grape vines in the sunshine. Love your jewel blue velvet!

The absolute perfect song to get the day started dear heart. Yes, this world is in a hot mess and we are the only ones who can fix it because if we BELIEVE, we will see that GOD lives within us. But compassion is the key that will open that door to let His love shine out of us.

Yes, autumn is creepily coming way too fast. We see the signs of it now.

The other morning I was out in the back yard picking up stuff and I felt a breeze and I thought I can feel Fall in the air. I was so excited and I began to think of what I would do for my Fall decorations. We have had some cooler weather, which I love and it is great for sleeping with a blanket on.

So I understand why your went back to the Rose gardens, they are truly beautiful. My roses don't look so good. My gardener took the hedge trimmers and treated my roses like a hedge. They look terrible! So now I have to get out there and try and fix the mess he made. I am pretty sure that I will be getting a new gardener. I pay alot of money for complete care.

Again, the roses are so beautiful. Have a wonderful weekend.

Hugs,
Mary

The roses are so beautiful, Sheri - such amazing colors. I can feel a change in the atmosphere, too, and the days are getting shorter. I am looking forward to the cooler weather and the pretty colors of fall. Your pumpkin is so sweet - blue velvet is so rich and luxurious. Lighting candles for your loved ones is such a lovely gesture. I've always loved that song, too. These times remind me of the turbulent 60's......I was once a hippie-girl :)sending hugs xo Karen

Such lovely photos of the roses, I can almost smell them. Nice to imagine them blooming, our wild roses are long gone. Calif. is such a different place.

I can only imagine the amazing fragrance at the garden!

I think I need a velvet pumpkin. I'm sure I can find directions to make one somewhere -- but I might just bite the bullet and go shopping!

What a beautiful rose garden - I love all the different roses and colors. And just like you, if I have the chance I light a candle for my loved ones in a church (I am not a religious person, though).
