A San Francisco Gem

Summertime in the City...

I explored Golden Gate Park over the weekend.

It was my first time visiting,

and it was gorgeous.

Golden Gate Park is a giant park nestled within the bustling city of San Francisco with plenty of nature trails, museums, monuments, and even a man-made lake.

Paddle boating around Stow Lake was so much fun!

We are lucky this vibrant city is ours. I can see why many 'left their heart' here.

Oh!!! One of my favorite places to visit. How I love this park. I knew with your very first picture where you were taking us. I do love SF and once lived there in another lifetime ago.

NICE.......Not been there. San Diego is where I stop when I come to Calif. I have been up to Santa Barbara, around LA....very pretty though.

Man I'd love to visit there some day -- we have friends who go often for work and they always have such beautiful pictures. That garden looks so beautiful - I haven't been on a paddle boat in years but I bet that was a great way to see that lake!

Hi Jess, I have been there just once. I did not get to ride a cable car...which was what I wanted. But I did go to Fisherman's wharf. Over the golden gate bridge twice to enjoy it. It is beautiful there. You are so young, you need to go and see all you can. Blessings to you and your sweet mommy, xoxo,Love, Susie

Hi Jess, I love the photos you have shared of gorgeous San Francisco! It's been a while since I've been there, but I remember it very fondly. The Golden Gate Park is a treasure for the city. There is so much to see and do in the city by the bay. ♥

Beautiful. I've never been there. I've never been to California though I did live in Seattle, Wa for a few years when I was younger.

Wow...what a cool place with so many great things to see! I am not a city dweller but this looks like fun place to visit. BTW...love the cute pink sandals! :)

I lived there as a child - in fact, we lived in the Haight Ashbury. I know the city well - I used to work in the Financial District when I was younger.

I will always love the city but it's changed and I feel sorry for all those who have lived there for generations and who are being forced out due to high rents and gentrification.

It does look beautiful.
I was there a long time ago and found the paddle boat painful to peddle around. It must not have been adjusted right for me.

So lovely to see your photos.
