Thank you, my friend. Those six words went straight to my heart. <3
Loved Mary, loved the show (which I plan on watching again now), and love the theme song. I think she was such a genuine soul. Our world could sure use more Marys.

I just read your last three post. Sorry iv'e been away from blogland. I love the phrase "your going to make it after all". I'm inspired by your Valentines post and happy you and your siblings get together and give each other gifts. The rain and storms have been pretty crazy. The hubby stays home on raindays and helps with the household and parenting stuff....he said it's more work to be at home and hopes for the sun =)

The house that was used in the opening scenes is a beautiful Victorian home that is on the route I take to work every day at Lake of the Isles. Yesterday morning, the house was all lit up in the darkness of the morning. It was quite beautiful!

I was so sad to hear about Mary Tyler Moore passing! I loved watching reruns of The Mary Tyler Moore show and The Dick Van Dyke Show! She was such an great actress. I remember when I was little watching her show and tossing my hat lol. I think those are words to live by, "You're gonna make it after all" beautiful tribute Sheri!

Sad day. I loved her. Dick Van Dyke Show was/is my favorite but Mary Tyler Moore show didn't disappoint. That and the fact that she could sing, dance, do really hard core drama like Ordinary People and Whose Life Is It Anyway, dedicate her life to animals and do it all with a significant disease and with a lot of tough times in her life only adds to my admiration.

A wonderful tribute, Sheri! She was such an icon for our generation - beautiful inside and out. I've been recently watching 'The Dick Van Dyke Show' reruns where she is just so lovely in her 60's fashions. I loved how she would always say, 'Ooooh Rob!' in her musical, wavering voice. She had that wonderful quality of humility and strength, all rolled up in a beautiful package. It makes me feel sad that we've lost her. Hope you have a lovely weekend, my friend. Hugs xo Karen

It is truly amazing how Mary and her "characters" influenced our generation. Many of my friends and I have been streaming her shows in the evening since we heard the sad news.

I am easing my way back into blogland in 2017. I have missed the frequency of visits with kind, caring and creative women like you!

Your tribute to her is lovely, Sheri!

Good Morning Dear Sheri,
What a lovely tribute to an inspirational woman. She touched so many of us in so many ways all throughout the years.
In early shows her hairstyle always reminded me of my sweet sisters.
She was a symbol of hope, joy and pure cuteness too!
Love,
Jemma
